Re-connecting with my friend from circa 2009, I wrote:

“What I remember most, my friend is how I described how unbelievable it was for me to forgive. I described it as “Hindi pang-tao”. I realize I was resisting, denying as if I was not worthy of this blessing of forgiveness back then.

I realize now it is by God’s grace. And that He taught me how much He loves me, even when I found it hard to forgive and love myself. ”
